One of the easiest mistakes people make in society is to like listening to "rumours/ slanders against individuals" A single lie can change your perception of others, leading to self-doubt and prejudice against a decent man. In reality, opinions are never objective, and the world shouldn't be defined by binary opposition. The true measure of a person's worth isn't based on what others say, but rather on how he/she actually treats you.

Those who treat you well, who are willing to give you a hand, support you, and understand you, are the real good people. Other people's comments and negative labels are just passing clouds and should not be used as a yardstick.

Jack Ma (founder of Alibaba and Taobao, former China's richest man), for example. Once the target of countless doubts, ridicule, and abuse, even labeled as a "con man," he has proven the absurdity of those rumors. In the early days of his business, when he founded Alibaba and Taobao, he faced not only financial and technical difficulties but also opposition and boycotts from traditional industries. Many people misunderstood his business model, dismissing it as "impossible" and "insane." Some even publicly accused him of being a "con man," discrediting him as a "rule-breaking trouble-maker" But reality tells us that so-called "trouble maker" are often merely smear campaign from old clique interests. Those who truly lead social progress aren't initially greeted with applause and accolades, but with misunderstandings, humiliations, and even persecution.

Please note: when everyone is scolding him, he is creating new opportunities and bringing new hope for many ordinary people, and changing the fate of the poor and small vendors.

However, time is the best judge. Far from being a fraud, Jack Ma is a pioneer who can foresee the future. He stands at a higher level, thinks from a different perspective, and drives the trends of society and our times. Alibaba and Taobao have reshaped the lifestyles of countless people: consumers can buy goods from around the world without leaving their homes, merchants can reach a wider market through the platform, and ordinary people have gained entrepreneurial and employment opportunities thanks to the rise of e-commerce. Jack Ma's success isn't based on the approval of others, but on his unwavering commitment to his faith and perseverance in proving his worth.

Pioneers are always lonely. They often lead the way, proposing advanced ideas that challenge bureaucracy and redundancy. This inevitably makes them targets of witch-hunt, subject to slanders, stigmatizations, and sufferings. History is replete with such examples. Galileo was tried by the Vatican Inquisition for his insistence on the heliocentric theory. It wasn't until 1992 that the Vatican exonerated him, acknowledging the trial as a historical error—A delayed justice for 350 years! Jeanne d'Arc (1412–1431), a French national hero, was arrested and burned alive on charges of heresy. When Steve Jobs launched the first iPhone, he was mocked, "Is it still a phone without a keyboard?" Elon Musk's SpaceX was also initially disgraced as a "Incredible Charlatan." Yet, it was these pioneers who, with their courage and conviction, changed the world!

So, when judging someone, don't rush to listen to others' opinions or be swayed by gossip. Ask yourself: Am I thinking independently? Am I being swayed by others' misinformation? What do I personally think of him or her? If the answer is following your heart, then he or she is a trustworthy person. On the other hand, you should ask what is the purpose behind those who only make sarcastic remarks and spread nonsense?

Countless historical stories tell us that truth is often in the hands of a few. Those who dare to challenge the old stereotype and fight bravely may not be understood at first, but their achievements ultimately speak for themselves. The same is true in life: pay more attention to those who treat you well and truly appreciate you, and show them more care and love. They may not be perfect, and may not be universally recognized, but their genuine devotion to you is far more valuable than gossip and rumors!

So, don't listen to what others say, just feel how you are treated. Time will tell who is the real good person!
